From modest buildings, Grupa Warszawa have emerged over time to become one of the most influential groups in the domestic F&B industry, a factor underlined by the infrangible reputation of their various venues. Originally known for Warszawa Powiśle, this former ticket hall evolved to become a cradle of creativity during the capital’s hipster revolution (remember that!?). That it thrives to this day is a testament to its enduring magic.
But other successes have also been recorded, and it is the sheer scope of Grupa’s portfolio that really electrifies: from the dark, intriguing confines of the speakeasy-style Weles cocktail bar, to the more overtly swank Biała, itself housed in a sparkling white modernist villa, everything they touch turns to gold. But that they’ve remained on the knife edge of cool in their eleven years of operation is best proved by the relaunch of Syreni Śpiew Koneser, a four-floored behemoth tricked out with Venetian mirrors and a blingy glass ceiling. That Vogue Polska celebrated their first birthday here says it all. Pace-making, groundbreaking, trendsetting: Grupa Warszawa are all those and more.
