#11. Talk of the Town

Founded by the same people that once ran the original ‘ruin’ bar at Hala Koszyki (back when it was a decrepit pile of wobbly, black stonework), Wozownia was the sensation of the summer, breathing life back into an area that had lost its will to live. Set in a 200-year-old carriage house within a secretive courtyard, the ad hoc spontaneity of the original Koszyki bar has been retained thanks to a design that feels cool and contemporary but also a little temporary. Drinks-wise, kick-ass cocktails sell just as well as the Prosecco, which remains arguably the cheapest glass of bubbles that you’ll find in the city. But really making it work is the crowd, a fabulously sceney collection of dudes with expensive little manbags, off-duty DJs and other such figures on the front end of hip. Just by being here, so are you.
